 | item: Hello to all Elvis Fans. I purchased this VHS and reviewed it i must say it was everything i thought it would be. I am so glad that i have this even though it's on VHS it is a great video and lots of great performances by Elvis. If you don't have this by all means get it before it goes away for good. I don't think this will ever be on DVD and if it is it may not be the same quality as it is on the VHS. Every Elvis collector should have this in your collection. To see all the cities and the excited fans waiting to see him in concert and for a time you forget that this is a video you are watching because you get caught up in the excitement of Elvis going on stage and 2001 Space Odessy is playing and you know he is about to appear. Buy it before it's to late to me it doesn't matter if it's on... see description |

 | item: --Sam Sutherland . Sidelined by his big-screen career, eclipsed by rock's mid-'60s transformations, the King had begun his return two years earlier with the relatively lean attack of his fabled network television appearance, '68 Comeback Special. " If he risks undercutting the punch of his early songs with self-deprecating clowning, he attacks two Ray Charles classics with gusto. The special edition also boasts digitally remastered visuals, crisply remixed Dolby audio, alternate versions that replace the original performances of several tracks (including the extended vamp of "Suspicious Minds"), a theatrical trailer, and a new documentary on the restoration of the film. This 1970 concert documentary captures Elvis Presley midway through a fateful transition, seeking to reclaim ... see description |

 | item: Pink Floyd's second concert video entitled Delicate Sound of Thunder was released in June of 1989 (the satellite album was released in November of 1988).
The album (and video) was recorded and filmed over five nights at the Nassau Coliseum in New York in August of 1988 (the end of the regular Momentary Lapse tour '87-'88 and directed by video director Wayne Isham (Bon Jovi, Rolling Stones, Queensryche, etc.).
The band would tour Europe again in 1989/90 in support of Delicate Sound with the tour called Another Lapse.
The band first attempted to record a live album and video in November of 1987 in Atlanta, GA but the band were not up to par. Subsequently, they tried again in the summer of 1988. As a result, a great live album and video.
The album and video has superb live versions of "On... see description |

 | item: Must transfer this L.I. Concert on to DvD....and why isn't there more of a selection of Billy Joel "Live" Concert DvD's...????? I was 13 years old in 1983 and only kind of knew who Billy Joel was. But, that same summer Billy Joel Live at Long Island was broadcast on HBO and the rest is history. I remember watching this with my Dad and becoming an instant fan. This video had an enormous effect on me. I immediately went out and bought every "record" I could find by Billy Joel. I am a HUGE Billy fan and have seen him 11 times in concert (even met him once!) and this is pretty accurate of one of his shows. I do have this concert on VHS so I have to keep a VCR around so I can relive "the good old days" when I am feeling nostalgic. This concert is the sole reason for making me the devoted... see description |

 | item: I listened to PP&M's music growing up, but this concert, the first of several concerts aired by PBS, is still the best of them all. It includes all the classic songs for which the trio is justly popular, as well as several songs from their then current album. I remember sitting and watching this cincert with one of my parents when it first aired, and we watched many times thereafter. Even though it was used a VHS, I found the picture and sound quality to be excellent, and again my only gripe is that is not on DVD. This music is good for both the mind and the soul, and I highly recommend it. I respectfully disagree. I like this fully as much as the Christmas special. P,P, & M show the ways in which their music has developed ovrr 25 years, while including the classics for which we lov... see description |
